Professional Background
Dr. Donald T. Sumad-on serves as the Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) at Isabela State University. He holds a PhD in Criminal Justice, majoring in Criminology, and has over ten years of experience in the teaching profession. He is the author of several criminology books, including Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence and Forensic Ballistics.
Dr. Sumad-on has been invited to deliver lectures on criminological research and related topics at various institutions. His scholarly contributions include several research studies indexed in Scopus, such as The Effectiveness of Barangay Tanod in Crime Prevention. Other notable works explore topics such as local communism, the challenges faced by criminology deans amid the new normal, and the roles of policemen in communities. These contributions reflect his commitment to advancing criminological knowledge and promoting community safety.
