Since 2011, Dr. R. Bhagwandeen has been serving as a dedicated and accomplished Chemistry lecturer, teaching students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education (Senior Phase and FET Teaching) program, with specializations in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion to her academic role. In 2018, she assumed leadership as the Departmental Manager of Mathematics, Science, and Technology Education, where she continues to provide strategic direction and academic guidance. Dr. Bhagwandeen actively contributes to the scholarly community by supervising Master’s and Doctoral students, reviewing journal articles, participating in national and international conferences, and publishing research papers. Her sustained commitment to teaching, research, and academic leadership reflects her enduring impact on higher education. Prior to her current role, Dr. Bhagwandeen (née Gupta) served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at St. Aloysius College, Jabalpur, affiliated with R.D.V.V. (Jabalpur University), India.

Dr. Bhagwandeen holds a Master of Science (MSc), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), underscoring her strong academic foundation and lifelong dedication to the advancement of science education.
