Dr. Ramesh Kumar, is currently working as an Assistant Professor & Researcher in the Department of Physics, Surana College Autonomous, South End Campus, Bangalore, Karnataka. He has worked as a Senior Research Fellow & Post Doctoral Research Fellow in SSN Research Centre at SSN College of Engineering, Shiv Nadar University, Chennai, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics (Material Science) and Master’s in Science in Materials Science (Physics) from Department of Physics, Anna University, Chennai, India. Prior to that he obtained his Bachelor’s in Science in Physics from Periyar University, Salem, India.
Areas of Research Interests: To optimize the condition of chemical method to synthesize the nanomaterials and characterization of the exfoliated material by XRD, FT-IR, XPS, SEM, EDS, Dielectric, VSM, UV/VIS/NIR, UV-Diffuse Reflectance spectroscopy and Impedance spectroscopy. Energy storage devices-supercapacitor and photovoltaics. Fabrication of nanomaterials via sputtering technique. Fabrication of Photovoltaic devices and Perovskite solar cells. Advanced functional materials for energy application in dye-sensitized solar cells.
