Dr. Y. Maheswari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tirupati, with over 14 years of experience in teaching and research. She holds a Doctorate in Finance from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati (2025), and an MBA in Finance from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapuram (2011).

She was ratified as an Assistant Professor by JNTUA in 2019 and has guided more than 150 postgraduate projects.

Dr. Maheswari has actively participated in more than 10 Faculty Development Programs and successfully completed 8 technical modules under the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) by AICTE, along with several NPTEL and edX certification courses.

Her research interests include mutual funds, investment strategies, portfolio management, capital markets, women leadership, financial derivatives, and Indian startups. She has published more than 30 research papers in reputed national and international journals with high impact factors and citations. She has also presented papers in over 10 national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops, published more than five book chapters, and holds three patents.
