Professional Background

Simon Matome Nkgapele holds a Bachelor of Administration, Bachelor of Administration Honours, Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education, Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Human Resource Management, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Management. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Management and Governance.

He has published more than 15 journal articles in international academic journals, and his research has received 99 citations on Google Scholar. He has experience working as an Academic Tutor and currently serves as a Senior Administrator for Grants and Research Funding at Sol Plaatje University.

In addition, he reviews research papers for several international journals and has over three years of experience in higher education administration. His professional and academic interests are centred on supporting student learning, producing high-quality research, and contributing to the advancement of higher education.
