John Theo Emmanuel C. Par is a Grade 12 STEM–AMH student from the University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos. He has a strong interest in psychological and biological sciences and aspires to contribute to understanding unexplored human experiences that cause suffering and pain. He spearheaded the study and played a key role in designing the methodology, as well as in data collection, analysis, and interpretation. His dedication to exploring and explaining various phenomena through the lens of scientific inquiry reflects his goal of pursuing a career in medical and health research and practice.
Lianne Rose Arevalo is a Grade 12 STEM-AMH student from the University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos. She has a deep interest in the medical sciences, particularly in understanding the connection between psychological and physical health. Her curiosity about how mental and bodily well-being interact drives her to explore the complex factors that shape human health. As a researcher, she played a crucial role in developing the study’s theoretical background and reviewing related literature, ensuring the research was grounded in credible scientific frameworks. Her extensive knowledge in the field has been instrumental in examining the Philippines’ largely unexplored mental health sector. Lianne’s commitment to learning, analytical thinking, and compassion for others reflect her aspiration to pursue a career that bridges medicine and psychology—aimed at improving holistic health and promoting awareness of mental well-being in the country.
Jose Gerardo Y. Alegada II is a Grade 12 STEM-AMH student from the University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos. His research interests lie in the psychological and biological sciences, particularly in understanding how human experiences shape emotion, behavior, and mental well-being. As a data collector, he was responsible for conducting participant interviews and transcribing the gathered information for analysis as well as writing the coclusion. He has attention to detail, empathy toward participants, and passion for exploring the human mind reflect his dedication to pursuing future studies and a career in medical and health research.
