The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people worldwide; the economy of the country, social values, and psychological stress of the people involved regardless of the directness of contact with the infected. This study aims to analyze the irrational beliefs and panic responses of the selected Lagunense. It used descriptive and correlational design to determine the two main variables. The sample was selected based on purposive sampling method and this consists of 100 young adults, 52 males and 48 females living in San Pablo City. The study used the survey questionnaire in Google form to gather the data. The results showed that the irrational beliefs which includes activating events, beliefs, consequences was high. The study found significant relationship between irrational beliefs and the profile of the respondents as to age, sex, religion and socio-economic status. There is a significant relationship between the irrational beliefs and panic response of the respondents. Thus, Information drive and awareness among them is highly suggested. Source of news and information about the Covid-19 pandemic should be verified and must only come to the official news portals and agencies to avoid misinformation and fake news.
