Dr. Amada is a writer, teacher and administrator. She has more than three decades of teaching experience including administrative positions such as programme head and dean in different colleges and universities in the Philippines. She was also an accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA). She has already developed a multicultural approach in teaching English language as she has nurtured during her tenure as lecturer in Vietnam and Oman. Her simple yet effective approach is attributed to her educational qualifications and professional experience. She finished Doctor of Philosophy in English at the University of Batangas in the Philippines. Currently, she is an English, literature and research professor at the Batangas State University in the Philippines.

Her passion for writing does not stop in college publication and personal blog. She has authored textbooks in English, published several researches in international journals and presented research papers in national and international conferences. She served as examiner, language editor and advisor to postgraduate students in thesis and dissertation writing. She mostly focuses on research topics in English, literature, social sciences, education and culture.
