Dr. Joan has almost three decades of teaching experience in business administration. She started as an instructor in a college in the Philippines and now an associate professor in the college of business administration and accountancy at the University of the Cordilleras in Baguio City, Philippines where she handles both the undergraduate and graduate programmes. She was given administrative positions such as graduate programme coordinator and department head. She was awarded as the Outstanding Finance Educator for Luzon in 2015 by the Financial Executives of the Philippines and Deloitte Philippines. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Management at the same university.
Her writing prowess is manifested as co-author in the book ‘Principles of Management: Work Text for Freshmen Students’. She serves as member of the panel of examiners in both the masters and doctorate research writing including the Chinese Executive Postgraduate programmes. She also gives research mentoring and advising to the master’s degree research students in her university.
