Aims and Scope

The International Journal of Educational Management and Development Studies (IJEMDS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and promoting critical inquiry in educational management, educational leadership, policy, and development. The journal aims to disseminate original research that contributes to theoretical advancement, methodological development, evidence-based practice, and policy formulation across diverse educational contexts. Although Asia and Africa constitute its primary geographical focus, it also welcomes high-quality scholarly contributions from other regions addressing educational challenges and innovations, as well as comparative and international perspectives that contribute to a broader understanding of education and its role in social, economic, and institutional development.

IJEMDS provides a scholarly platform for researchers, educators, educational administrators, policymakers, and other professionals to examine emerging issues that inform institutional improvement and educational development. It encourages interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research that bridges educational theory and practice and publishes original, methodologically rigorous research employing quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and other appropriate scholarly approaches.

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process and are evaluated based on originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, ethical integrity, and significance to international scholarship. The journal is committed to maintaining high editorial standards and fostering constructive peer review that supports authors in improving the quality and impact of their work.
