Dr. Nabayra is currently a Faculty Member of the Aklan State University – College of Teacher Education and the former chairperson of the Quality Assurance Unit. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in Mathematics at the West Visayas State University, a Center of Excellence in Teacher Education, in the Western Visayas Region in the Philippines. He is a dedicated educator, prolific researcher, and an advocate social responsibility.
At 26, he has already published different research in international and national refereed journals, one of which is being processed in Scopus-indexed publication. He serves as a research panelist in graduate thesis presentations, statistics/research consultant, a peer reviewer of different international journals, and a panel of examiner in research conferences. His research interests include mathematics education, instructional material development, ethnomathematics, educational research, technology integration in mathematics education, and social science research. An associate member of NRCP Division VIII – Social Sciences, board member of Mathematical Society of the Philippines (MSP) Region VI, a national auditor of the International Alliance of Mathematics Teachers Inc. (IAMTI), and a member of various professional organizations in mathematics, research, and education He was enlisted as one of the Top 10 Best Scientists in Aklan State University (Top 4) based on Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index Rankings for World Scientists as of September 2022.
